Seasoned the beef burger using any homemade or store-bought seasoning of choice. Try my homemade peri peri seaoning or taco seasoning.

How many burger patties can I cook in the air fryer
Depending on the size of your air fryer basket and the circumference of the patties, you may only be able to fit just 1 at a time in the basket, especially if you are using a small-sized air fryer.
I use Cosori 5.5L XL air fryer and I was able to fit four quarter pounders in the basket. The shape of Cosori air fryer basket is square. If your air fryer is circular in shape then I reckon 2 to 3 at a time. You can cook in batches if need be.
Regardless of what you do, avoid stacking the patties when cooking.
How to cook frozen burgers in the air fryer
There is no need to preheat the air fryer for this, simply place the frozen burger patties in the air fryer.
Cook the burgers for 15 minutes at 180C/360F flipping once for even cooking. If you would be topping the burger with cheese, add it 30 seconds or 1 minute before the end of the cooking time and cook until the cheese melts. I mostly do 30 seconds. If cooking thinner patties then cook for 10 minutes at 180C/360F
Carefully remove the cooked burger from the air fryer basket and assemble on hamburger buns with other toppings of choice. Enjoy!
PS: the burger shrinks when cooked so don’t be alarmed if this happens
Tips
The number one tip when cooking fresh or frozen meat in the air fryer is to avoid overlapping it. In simple words, do not overlap or stack these frozen patties in the air fryer basket.
While it is convenient to grab frozen food from the aisle in the shops, it is important that you read the ingredients list to ensure it doesn’t contain a lot of preservatives and that it is made with real food. Frozen meat burgers should contain pure 100% beef with about 15% of fat content for a moist and juicy burger.
The size of the burgers would determine how long you would cook.
Remember to flip the burger patties so it cooks evenly and both sides cooks nicely.

Burgers were great. The clean up was a pain. Read about bread to prevent smoke
which I did not have, but it may catch all the grease so will try that next time. Anyone have other suggestions?Reply
