Top of the first
UC Irvine starter Nick Rincover gets a four pitch strikeout of Travis Bazzana followed by a bunt groundout from Micah McDowell down the first base line. Gavin Turley battles back from a 1-2 count to draw a walk but Rincover bounces back to strikeout Dallas Macias.

Bottom of the first
Woody Hadeen leads things off for UC Irvine with a leadoff single to bet the switch off of Eric Segura. Segura then issues back-to-backwalks to Anteater centerfielder Myles Smith and leftfielder Caden Kendle to load the bases. The Anteaters would draw first blood on a fielders choice from Anthony Martinez and then extend their lead in a big way behind a Dub Gleed three run shot to left-center. Second baseman Will Bermudez drew a four pitch walk following the Gleed home run, the third of the frame for Segura and the second four-pitch free bag. A fielders choice to Jabin Trosky at third got Segura his second out before a strikeout gets the freshman righty out of a 40 pitch first inning.
4-0 UC Irvine
Top of the second
Brady Kasper opens the second for the Beavers with a leadoff walk. UC Irvine promptly goes to the bullpen and brings in junior righty David Utagawa. Wilson Weber follows Kasper with a walk of his own before Elijah Hainline launches his 11th home run of the season to centerfield and OSU trims the UC Irvine lead to one. Mason Guerra keeps the momentum rolling with a walk, the third drawn of the inning for OSU and advanced to second on a wild pitch to Jabin Trosky. Trosky follows that up with a single to give the Beavers runners on the corners and UC Irvine goes to the pen again. This time it is freshman lefty Ryder Brooks who has the tall task of facing All-American Travis Bazzana. Brooks gets Bazzana out with a fly out to center, although Guerra comes across to score for OSU and we are even at four. Brooks gets a flyout of McDowell but can't keep the game tied as Gavin Turley rips a double to plate Trosky. A lineout to deep right gets Brooks out of the frame but the damage is done.
5-4 Oregon State
Bottom of the second
Segura issues his third four pitch walk of the game to Jo Oyama to give the Anteaters a baserunner. A punchout of Hadeen gives Segura his second of the night and first out of the second inning. A 6-3 double play from Myles Smith to Hainline means Segura faces the minimum.

Top of the third
Groundout to second from Kasper starts the frame, while Weber gets on after being beaned by a pitch. Hainline gets on base for the second time today drawing a walk with a full count to put two on for Mason Guerra. A sliding catch takes away a run for the Beavers. Trosky gets on with a single to load the bases for Bazzana but Travis flies out to left.

Bottom of the third
Flyout to center opens the Anteaters turn. Segura gets a punch out of Anteater slugger Martinez with his third strikeout of the night but then issues his third four pitch walk of the game to Gleed. Travis Bazzana makes a rangy play at second to throw out Bermudez to close the inning.
5-4 Oregon State
Top of the fourth
Micah McDowell sharply laces one between the first and second basem*n for his first base hit of the night. Brooks recovers for UC Irvine with a strikeout of Gavin Turley and then gets a bail out as Dallas Macias over slides second base on a would-be double and is tagged out. The next pitch from Brooks however skies over the catcher's glove and McDowell comes home for OSU. Kasper walks for the second time but a groundout ends the inning.
6-4 Oregon State
Bottom of the fourth
Leadoff hit by pitch from Segura and that will do it today. Play will resume tomorrow afternoon at 12 PM. AJ Lattery is on the mound for the Beavers as play resumes Monday afternoon, the first appearance at Goss this season for the senior righty. Lattery gets the first out of Monday with a grounder to short, although Thomas McCaffrey advances to second for the Anteaters. A flyout to Dallas Macias in left gets Lattery his second out of the frame before Brady Kasper drops a line drive off of Woody Hadeen's bat. McCaffery comes across to score on the error and narrow the Beaver lead down to one. Kasper gets his redemption by putting out Myles Smith and the fourth inning that started around 17 hours ago is finally over.
6-5 Oregon State
Top of the fifth
A little bit of a surprise as UC Irvine is throwing ace Nick Pinto. That doesn't matter to the Beavers though who open the inning with an Elijah Hainline double followed by a Mason Guerra single. Hainline scores on Guerra's knock. Pinto strikes out Jabin Trosky to get his first out of the ballgame but would relinquish a single to Travis Bazzana. Micah McDowell follows that with a single of his own to load them up for Gavin Turley. UC Irvine gets their second strikeout of the frame as Turley goes down swinging. Dallas Macias however would bring a run across, as he walks to score Mason Guerra. UC Irvine pulls Pinto and brings in closer Ricky Tibbett. Tibbett gets a groundout from Kasper to end the frame.
8-5 Oregon State
Bottom of the fifth
A flyout from Caden Kendle to Kasper gets the first out of the inning. Lattery gets his first strikeout of the game with a punchout of Anthony Martinez. Dub Gleed gives the Anteaters some life though, as his second home run of the game and sixth of the season cuts the Beaver lead to two. Lattery hits Will Bermudez with a pitch to give McCaffrey a runner on. Two pitches to McCaffery and the trainer is onto the field to check out Lattery with pitching coach Rich Dorman. Lattery is pulled from the game and sophom*ore side-armer AJ Hutcheson comes in. Hutcheson gets a flyout to center and the damage is limited.
8-6 Oregon State
Top of the sixth
Wilson Weber is first pitch swinging and delivers with a lead-off single. Hainline takes a ball for a ride but the play is made at the warning track by Myles Smith. Mason Guerra gives the Beavers their second base runner drawing a walk with a full count but Jabin Trosky can't advance them as Bermudez makes a great leaping catch on a line drive. Travis Bazzana walk to load them for McDowell with two down. McDowell gets the Beavers on the board in the sixth with an infield single to score Weber but OSU can't get anymore out of it as Bermudez makes another fantastic play on a comebacker off of the pitchers glove to throw out Gavin Turley at first.
9-6 Oregon State
Bottom of the sixth
Another hit batter in this ballgame as Hutcheson beans Chase Call to kickoff the bottom of the frame. Hutcheson recovers for a nasty strikeout of the ever difficult to retire Jo Oyama and faces the minimum as leadoff man Woody Hadeen grounds into a 4-6-3 double play.
9-6 Oregon State
Top of the seventh
Tibbett gets the Anteaters started with a three pitch punchout of Dallas Macias followed by a Brady Kasper groundout to second. Tibbett gets Wilson Weber swinging and that means it's stretch time in Corvallis.
9-6 Oregon State
Bottom of the seventh
Lefty flamethrower Nelson Keljo is in for the Beavers to replace Hutcheson. Keljo makes projected MLB Draft pick Myles Smith look silly with a strikeout. Caden Kendle gives the Anteaters a runner on with a single to left, the second hit issued by Keljo of the regional. The next two pitches are flyouts to left and center and just like that the Anteaters fail to capitalize.
9-6 Oregon State
Top of the eighth
Tibbett looks locked in with a strikeout of Elijah Hainline to begin the eighth. Right as I say that, Mason Guerra launches one to left field and the Beavers extend their lead to four. 11th home run of the year for Guerra. Tibbets recovers to strikeout Trosky and retire Travis Bazzana with a groundout in what could've been his last at bat at Goss Stadium.
10-6 Oregon State
Bottom of the eighth
Travis Bazzana flies over to shallow right to catch a Bermudez fly ball and Keljo has his first out of the inning. A throwing error from Travis Bazzana got McCaffery on who advanced to second on a wild pitch. Keljo bounces back to punchout Call and Oyama and the Beavers are three outs away.
10-6 Oregon State
Top of the ninth
Micah McDowell draws a full count walk to give OSU a baserunner with no outs. Tibbett gets Turley looking and then gets a huge pickoff of McDowell to clear the bases. Tibbett couldn't get a 1-2-3 inning however, as Dallas Macias belts a line drive over the left field fence and the Beavers extend their lead. A Kasper groundout ends the inning.
11-6 Oregon State
Bottom of the ninth
Bridger Holmes on to close the door for OSU. Grounder to Elijah Hainline gives the Beavers their first out of the inning. Jabin Trosky makes a great play to throw out Smith before a pop fly to Hainline does it.
