The Wenns Chop & Ale House is a local gastropub and hotel located opposite Kings Minster. It offers highly accommodating service and serves incredibly well-prepared food. Truly enjoyed my dinner. Passed by multiple times but only tried to do the ale Trail. Ordered the chicken burger & sticky toffee pudding and both were really good at a very good price (something rare at the moment) in fact the STP was the best I have tried in town. Will definitely go back. The staff was very attentive as well. Give them a try, they do deserve it 😁
Firstly let me say that the food was excellent - especially my pork chop and my wife's Barnsley lamb chop. The portion sizes were good as well.Our waitress who was a girl was very friendly, pleasant and excellent with all customer service. Just ask the young barman to look less perplexed about everything and give us at least a bit of a smile.If in Kings Lynn again I would more than likely return.
We recently stayed here and found the welcome to be friendly and warm. The rooms are quirky, clean and nicely decorated. A great location in King's Lynn, lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and bar and would definitely visit again.

Super accommodating and incredibly well cooked food at this local gastropub and hotel. Opposite Kings Minster so you can get a perfect view of the light show each evening.Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Good range of staples as well as some specials. They feature different chops each month.My steak was perfect and my other half loved his burger with the extra touches like onion rings.Highly recommend
I went here with family for a Sunday roast....and it was my birthday too. 🎂 😁The staff were fantastic. Very accommodating. Very friendly. And they sang happy birthday 🎶.I would definitely recommend The Wenns, and will be going there again soon.
